Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has signed the N197.6bn 2020 appropriation bill into law. A breakdown showed N91.4bn for recurrent expenditure, while it was for N106.2bn for capital expenditure, representing 53.8 per cent of the budget size. He commended the members of the ninth state Assembly for passing the bill at record time. Also, Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has signed the N146.8bn 2020 appropriation bill into law, stating that he won’t entertain submissions outside the budget. Zulum said: “I intend to be strict in adhering to 2020 budget provisions for Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
